BMLA Annual General Meeting

Barrie Minor Lacrosse Association will be holding our Annual General Meeting on October 27th, 2026 at 7:30pm in the Multi-Purpose Room at Peggy Hill Community Centre.  All members in good standing may attend if they wish.  

The association is run 100% by volunteers who are not paid or compensated for the hundreds of hours that they put into the sport each year.  It's critically important to the longevity and health of the association that we will our board and volunteer positions with likeminded people each year.  Several long serving board members will depart this year as their children move into Junior, so we need volunteers from the younger teams to step up and help at the association level.

Positions that are up for election are listed in the Agenda below.  If you are interested in volunteering for one of these positions, please reply to this email so we know in advance to call your name.

Nominations are accepted in advance by replying to this email and from the floor at the AGM.  Letting us know in advance helps us with the recruiting process.

New Business - Respectful questions and discussion related to the overall business of the association will be taken from members in good standing.  Issues related to individual teams, coaches, or individuals should be addressed privately with the VP in charge of that sector.
