WELCOME TO Field LACROSSE
Thank you for considering the Bombers Field Lacrosse Program. Below you will find several pieces of useful information to help determine which program is most appropriate for your child and family.
All players must be registered online with proper documentation prior to field tryouts.
As with other travel sports, a family needs to consider the level of commitment they can offer the team and take this into careful consideration before trying out. We ask that once you commit to the team, that lacrosse doesn’t become second to another rep sport.
Rep Field team tryouts are in late February for U9-U17 programs. Rep teams will begin regular outdoor practices during the last week of March. All teams practice once or twice per week during the season. Rep teams compete against other centers in the Ontario Minor Field Lacrosse League (OMFLL)- this is a travel league and games will be hosted throughout Ontario. OMFLL games begin in April, and conclude with provincials on the May long weekend. A second team for any age group will only be considered if numbers dictate at the tryouts/registration.
Please note that game locations could be anywhere from Welland to Peterborough.
